Random one sided phone call overheard at the office:

D - Hi! I'd like to invite you to come for an interview next week for the sales position. Pause. It will be with Bob Chu*. Pause. The person interviewing you is Bob Chu. Sorry? BOB CHU... You want me spell that out for you? B-O-B... C-H-U... Yes, Bob Chu. Pause... Excuse me? The person looking at your resume? Bob Chu will be doing that. Yes. Yes. Okay so we will see you then. Pause. You want me to email you?! OK OK. Bye.

Hahaha best office phone call I have overheard to date! I don't think I have ever heard D getting that frustrated. This guy really needs to work on his listening skills if he wants to be in sales. Email you? Are you gonna ask the client to do that in the future? Almost died from laughing.

*Names have been replaced.

I can cook! And by cook, I mean throw things into the food processor.

Power bar consisting of peanut butter, dates, walnuts, almonds, chia seeds, and honey, topped with a random assortment of dried berries.

Recipe from Inspired Edibles

Saturday night:

-Cranium and UFC
-jello shots

I was slightly confused about the girl's top that was clearly failing to restrain her boobs from spilling out. Did she unzip her hoodie when the boy showed up? The boy was clearly into her boobs, and some of the other girls were just plain mesmerized by the whole scene. Sorta disgusted by the boy. Very amused by the other girls.

Next day:

Felt bored on a beautiful St. Patricks Day Sunday, so went downtown with R and all the green wearing celebrates and got my helix pierced again at Adrenaline. Super friendly staff, and one of the guys was rather cute.

Reminds me of Everything Beautiful Begins After. This one is also about lovers (but less so) and has a few tragedies (death, but less focused on it). Lots of character development. I think that's the type of story I like to read, the ones where the main character has a revelation at the end of the book. Also, books that make me teary eyed.

I don't look forward to biking home in the rain.

In this rain. Day 2 of the rain storm in BC. Everybody in the office was complaining about being sleepy today.

Ways to beat the rainy blues and not get wet while on a budget:
-sleep it off
-cook something chocolate, but not with too much sugar because it'll go straight to the thighs
-do yoga at home
-play with the cat until he loses interest in your feeble attempts to get his attention
-plan a trip to somewhere far away from here. Anywhere but here.

Quiet day at the CPC office. Not one visitor, not even a phone call.

The interview was 9 days ago. The test was 14 days. When will I find out?! This is stressful and I think I'm getting sick.

It's a beautiful day in Vancouver though.
