Finally finished The Instructions by Adam Levin. I admit, I skimmed most of it.  Couldn’t focus on all 1030 pages of this bible.  Interesting read. I’ll reread it when I retire.  Gurion Maccabee is a beast; my future daughter’s name will be Starla; the ending was really dramatic and reminded me a bit of Battle Royale.

I really wish I had an eReader. Time to save up for one.

I miss my car.  It’s in the shop to get protective coating.  Picking it up tomorrow after work.  The sales person showed me the functions quickly.  Didn’t really need the tutorial, but hey, it's part of his job.

Wanted to watch the Perseid meteor shower last night, so I drove R, A, and A to McDonald Park in Abbotsford.  What a fail night.  Speeding ticket, clouds, no corkscrew, rain. Things will get better.

To make the day better, I went to yoga this morning and sweated buckets in a 39 degree room. Also, maybe car shopping later.

I’m so tired of not sleeping. I wake up at least once in the middle of the night, then another time before the sun rises, and today, I just got tired of rolling around in bed.  Thus, blog post at 7AM….

There was a flash flood in Ellensburg. I almost got trampled while waiting for Tiesto on the 1st night, so the 2nd day we stayed up on the hill overlooking the Mainstage. So much more enjoyable.  N, R, and M brought their Canadian flags.  Everyone was upset when Gareth Emery switched stages at the last minute.

We got lost for about 10 minutes when we were heading back to the hotel from the Gorge on the 2nd day. The TomTom GPS was being a troll.  It told us to circle all the way around to Seattle first, which would have taken a good 2 hours!!!! Getting a Garmin…

Going full time at my current job. I think it’s time to go shopping for more clothes to do hot yoga in. Sweated so much yesterday, I could’ve kept a thirsty camel alive.

Really looking forward to the weekend.  I barely had time to eat for the past 2 days… Meetings really suck up a lot of time! Communication is key though.  Oh well, at least I am making myself too tired to be sad and think about why I started crying at my last interview for a volunteer position!

What is wrong with me this week? I must have done something to get bad karma.

The people I want to talk to aren't around.

My bike's front tire tube had to be replaced because the pin snapped while I was trying to pump it after work.

I haven't had a sip of alcohol since last weekend!!!!

I decided to stay in tonight because I just didn't want to make it worse by having a bad night out. And I know not will be bad. At least the week is over. Next week will improve!

A single piece of hair flying into one’s eye while biking down Willingdon can cause a lot of irritation and pain, which can result in an unfortunate event.

This day was a bust.  Running around the lab for C, useless meetings, and a waste of time. 

 

Step 1. Get hair done at Lost and Found Parlour.
Step 2. Buzzed, but bored at Venue.
Step 3. Sweat it all out the next morning at Chopra.

I hate that I get bored so easily, and that I’m too scared to do things sometimes. Somebody save me!

I love Suits and Instagram. I’m afraid of doing so many things; what should I do first?

I had my last class of FSCT7005 yesterday.  What a relief to be done!  My recommendations for this course:

-try not to be the investigator
-make notes of everything
-memorize your willsay
-be extremely formal in court, keep everyone on a last-name basis
-be sure of everything you say

We went to the Winking Judge Pub afterwards, and had a few beers while we vented about each of our own experiences.  All the ladies thought M was irresistibly hot.  Wish we invited him to join us at the pub, but he probably would have declined politely anyways.

This weekend should be fun though.

Cannot sleep.  Friend’s sending me links to repetitive sounds on YouTube, and I’ve got Harry Potter – The Half Blood Prince on in the background.  He’s so short… Ginny just gave him an awkward tall girl hug.
